Steve began practicing public accounting in 1988. In his current practice, he performs tax services, as well as business and financial planning for individuals and closely held businesses. He frequently works with clients in the real estate industry and in the legal profession, including both law firms and individual attorneys.

Steve started his career with Laventhol & Horwath in Philadelphia, where he worked in both the audit and tax departments. He later acquired additional tax experience at a small CPA firm in Blue Bell, where he worked with many individual tax clients, as well as provided accounting and tax services for businesses in the real estate and automotive industries. Prior to his arrival at Drucker & Scaccetti, P.C. in 1994, he worked for a computer consulting firm in Jenkintown, where his responsibilities included training, implementation and technical support for accounting software used in private industry and in public accounting firms.

Steve majored in accounting at Drexel University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He also received a Master of Science degree in Taxation from Philadelphia University. He is a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Personal Information
As a native of Philadelphia, Steve continues to reside in the Philadelphia suburbs with his wife and children. He is an avid sports fan who enjoys coaching his children’s baseball and soccer teams, playing in a softball league, and attending professional baseball games with his family. He has also taken up golf, along with all the frustrations involved in that game. In addition to his passion for sports, Steve enjoys movies and theater when he has the time.

He is also very active in community service. He is treasurer of the Theatre Alliance of Greater Philadelphia, and volunteers with both Habitat for Humanity and the Terri Lynn Lokoff Childcare Foundation.
