Jim has been practicing as a tax professional since 1987. He provides accounting, tax compliance and business consulting services to a broad base of clients, including closely held businesses and their owners; partnerships; consolidated corporations; estates and trusts; individuals; and tax-exempt entities, such as private foundations and nonprofit organizations. He has worked with clients in a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, distribution, professional service, real estate, and investment holding & management.
Prior to joining Drucker & Scaccetti, P.C. in 1995, Jim was a tax manager for a "Big Four" international accounting and consulting firm, where he provided both tax compliance and tax consulting services to a variety of clients in different industries. Because Jim was a member of the firm’s Exempt Organizations Group, his clients included large health care systems, community hospitals, universities, regulated investment companies and other tax-exempt entities.
Jim received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree with maxima cum laude honors from LaSalle University, where he majored in finance and accounting. He also earned a Master of Taxation degree from the Villanova Law School Graduate Tax Program.
Jim has continued to supplement his education with a variety of professional education courses and is a presenter for in-house training. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, as well as the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Personal Information
Jim resides with his wife and children in Ardsley, PA.
Jim’s community involvement has included leadership positions with the Boy Scouts and volunteer work at his church.
