Bruce has been practicing in the field of public accounting since 1979. He is a tax generalist with an extensive background in tax and financial planning for closely held businesses and individuals. He has substantial experience in estate administration, trust taxation and planning, partnership taxation and passive activity losses. In addition to his individual clients, he services a diverse group of businesses, including real estate companies, distributors and professional service organizations.

After beginning his career in the Los Angeles office of Arthur Anderson, Bruce joined the tax department in the Philadelphia office of Laventhol & Horwath, where he ultimately became a tax manager. In 1990, he was a member of the group that founded Drucker & Scaccetti, P.C., and became one of the firm’s original shareholders. During his career, he has also had the opportunity to present lectures on a variety of tax subjects as part of continuing professional education programs.

Bruce received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from George Washington University in 1979, and a Master of Taxation degree from the Villanova Law School Graduate Tax Program in 1987. He is a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Personal Information
Although Bruce is a Pittsburgh native, he currently resides in Upper Dublin, Pennsylvania, with his wife Jodi and their two children. Jodi works part-time performing freelance writing and editing services for various clients.

Raised on the Steelers, Pirates and Penguins, Bruce has always been a sports enthusiast. He also learned the game of golf as a child and continues to enjoy a round when time permits. More frequently, however, he can be found playing with his children and regularly attending their sporting events. He also spent several years coaching some of their teams.

Bruce has participated in a number of fundraising activities for the American Cancer Society over the years. He also supports Jodi in her efforts as an active volunteer for the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life.
